Financial Aid for Incoming Freshmen

At Loyola, every effort is made to extend the financial assistance necessary to allow all qualified students the opportunity to attend Loyola High. The income from tuition and fees only covers 80.9% of the year's operating budget, which does not include capital expenditures or financial aid. For the 2017/2018 school year, each Loyola student receives a "grant" of $5,000 from gifts, fund-raising support and the endowment of Loyola High School. Financial aid is available on an annually renewable basis. Financial aid applications are available only online after November 1, 2017. Financial aid applications are due to FACTS Service before January 29, 2018. This 2017-18 school year approximately $3,680,000 of financial aid will be awarded to over 350 students, approximately 27% of the student body. The average award for financial aid for 2017-18 is $10,180 which is close to 51% of tuition.
