Annual Blood Drive

Loyola is hosting its annual Blood Drive on Thursday, February 12th from 7:30 – 1:30 in Xavier Center.

It has a new name though.  In honor of our long-time supporter and benefactor, especially of this event, we have now given a name to it:  The MM Miller Blood Drive.  It’s open to all alumni, past and current parents, and friends of Loyola.  Hope to see you take part in this very worthy endeavor.  Read More.

Annual Alumni Communion Brunch

Loyola’s annual ALUMNI COMMUNION BRUNCH has a special touch this year.  Since we are celebrating 150 years of Loyola, we wanted to take this opportunity to directly honor all Jesuits in a special way who have served in some capacity at Loyola High.

Mass will be celebrated in Xavier Center by Loyola’s President, Rev. Gregory Goethals, S.J., assisted by all Jesuits who return for this occasion, on Sunday, February 8th, followed by our traditional brunch.  There are a few extra special touches though so please view the attached invitation.

You may register for this event through this link:  You may also RSVP to Janie Kuhnmuench by email at, or phone (213) 381-5121, ext. 1311

The Interchange Auction is Loyola High School’s largest annual social event and the most important fundraiser of the year, but it’s not just a single event. It is a whole season with many ways to participate! Prior to the actual auction night, there are eight Gift Gathering Parties (or GGP’s) in eight cities around Los Angeles, the first of which is on Saturday, February 7th! You can choose any party that works best for you. Your invitation to the GGP's, as well as information on ways to get involved in Interchange, will be arriving in your mailboxes shortly. Find out more or RSVP for a Gift Gathering Party here!
We are excited to announce the theme of the 43rd Annual Interchange – 2015:  A Vintage Year. A Toast!  Like a fine wine with a wonderful taste and delicious bouquet, Loyola High School has matured for 150 years into a noble, nurturing academic institution. And for the last 43 years, Interchange has been an integral part of that legacy. So join us as we fill our glasses and celebrate our Loyola legacy, Jesuit tradition, commitment to education, our unrivaled service in the community and the enduring tradition of creating Men for Others. Here’s to you, Loyola!

Alumni Baseball Game 2015

It’s that time again when we host our annual Alumni Baseball game.   This year’s contest, our 5th annual, will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2015 on Mark Robinson Diamond at Shepherd Park.  The 1st game, our "seasoned" Alums vs. "more seasoned" Alums (a.k.a. the Classes of ’04 or before) will begin with batting practice @ 9:30 AM followed by a 3-4 inning game with the first pitch schedule for 10:15.

The 2nd game of the traditional doubleheader will pit the ‘15 Varsity Team vs. the baseball alumni of ’05 or later.  Batting practice takes place @ 11:45 with opening pitch of the 6 innnings @ 12:30.
Even if you won’t be on the field trying to save face, it’s still an event to show up and bring ALL your family.  Great way to keep the holiday festivities going.  Register Here.
