Welcome to Loyola and Friday Night Lights! Below is information for our 2017 season Varsity Football Home Games. For information regarding the entire Varsity Football season and all other athletics at Loyola, please go to our Athletics Main page here ».

  • $8 for Adults; $2 for Children under 13; High School students with IDs are free. Students must show ID.
  • There will be no charge for parking.
  • Parking in Dewey opens at 2:00 p.m. If Venice is closed, parking on Venice opens at 4:30 p.m. Please keep in mind that, when Venice Blvd is closed to traffic, the area will become highly congested.
  • Gates and Concessions open at 5:30 p.m.

TICKETS

When can I buy tickets?

  • Tickets will be available starting at 5:30 on game day.

How much are tickets?

  • $8 for Adults
  • $2 for Youth under 12.
  • Free for high school students; students must show student I.D.

Where can I buy tickets?

  • Tickets may be purchased at Malloy Commons beginning at 5:30 PM on game days.

GATES, CONCESSIONS, AND MERCHANDISE

  • The fan entrance is located at the 15th Street driveway. There will be a bag check at the gate.
  • Concessions include Z-licious hamburgers, hot dogs, pizzas, wraps and sandwiches. Z-licious’ snack tents will also be available for drinks and snacks. Cubcash accepted.
  • Cub Corner will have general merchandise available from the store, and one satellite location that will sell football specific items.

SEATING

  • Bleacher seats
  • First come, first served seating; no assigned seats
  • Arrive early to get your seats
  • No coolers or large bags
  • Please remember to bring everything you need into the stadium. If you leave the stadium, you will not be allowed re-entry.

 

MAP

PARKING

  • Parking on or near campus is limited to approximately 800 spaces. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
  • There will be no charge for parking. Parking is on a first come, first served basis.
  • The Dewey lot entrance (C on the map) is open after school from 2:00 PM. Entrance to the Dewey lot is on Pico Blvd.
  • Venice Blvd. Will be closed to all traffic at 2:00 PM. On days when Venice is closed, parking will be available on Venice Blvd. one hour before the ticket gates open. Entrance to Venice parking (D on the map) is on Normandie Ave.
  • A limited amount of handicap parking will be available on a first come, first served basis. Inform security and they will direct to available spaces.
  • Please do not park in the neighborhood surrounding Loyola out of respect for our neighbors and security concerns.
  • Please remember to bring everything you need into the stadium. If you leave the stadium, you will not be allowed re-entry. Please note: No coolers will be allowed.

TAILGATING

  • Loyola will have a strict policy of NO TAILGATING on the premises or surrounding parking lots at this game. Attendees may not block parking spaces or consume food and alcoholic beverages in the parking lots before, during or after the game. When you get out of your car you will be required to enter the stadium. Once you leave the stadium, you will not be allowed re-entry.
  • Anyone who appears to be impaired by or under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance may be denied entry to or ejected from the event.
  • No outside food or beverage will be allowed inside the stadium.
  • Alcoholic beverages may not be brought onto the event premises.

 


CODE OF CONDUCT

Cheer on your team while being courteous and respectful of others.

  • Be courteous to other fans. Cheer with respect and in the spirit of good sportsmanship. Treat all participants with respect.
  • Support the efforts of players and coaches regardless of result.
  • Fans will not ridicule, criticize, be hostile or show any signs of disrespect to officials, players, coaches or other spectators in victory or defeat. Inappropriate behavior should be reported to the nearest usher, security or other Loyola personnel.
  • Fans will not engage in any activity that embarrasses others or prohibits them from enjoying the experience of a Loyola game.
  • Foul, abusive, racial, and culturally insensitive language as well as obscene or hostile gestures are prohibited.
  • Obscene or indecent clothing is prohibited. Footwear is required at all times.
  • Be courteous to the residents of the neighborhoods surrounding the Event when entering and exiting the Event.

Have fun while being responsible, sober, and safe.

  • Attendees may not tailgate before, during or after a game.
  • Attendees who are impaired by alcohol or a controlled substance may be barred entry or asked to leave.
  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the premises.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the event except in designated areas.
  • Possession and/or use of marijuana on the event premises are prohibited.
  • Guns, weapons, illegal drugs and other materials deemed hazardous or dangerous by Loyola personnel are prohibited.
  • All persons entering the event are subject to reasonable search to protect the safety of the public and to ensure compliance with this Code of Conduct.

Enjoy the game while being a good fan.

  • Be aware that there is a strict no re-entry policy for this event.
  • Do not go onto the field, throw objects onto the field or interfere with the game.
  • Comply with requests from Loyola personnel regarding event operations and emergency response procedures.
  • All persons entering the event will be expected to abide by all applicable federal, state and local laws.
  • Items intended for sale or trade may not be brought onto event property, including the parking lots, without a permit, concession license or lease from Loyola.
  • Tickets may not be re-sold on event property under any circumstances and is prohibited by law. Persons caught selling tickets in violation of the law may have their tickets and their right to future tickets revoked. To avoid using counterfeit or stolen tickets, please purchase tickets through authorized Loyola ticket outlets only.

If any spectator does not follow the above rules, she/he may be asked to leave the game and the school premises and she/he may be barred from attending further Loyola athletic contests and events.


DIRECTIONS

Venice Blvd. will be closed for all home games. Please follow the list of directions below to find parking for Friday.

Directions from North of Loyola:

  1. Take Southbound Hollywood 1-101 Freeway OR Southbound Golden State 1-5 Freeway THEN –
  2. Take the Harbor 1-110 Freeway south through Los Angeles.
  3. Take the exit-ramp to the Westbound Santa Monica 1-10 Freeway
  4. Take the Normandie exit
  5. Turn Right onto Normandie
  6. Go up Normandie about 1/3rd of a mile

Directions from East of Loyola:

  1. Take the Westbound San Bernardino 1-10 Freeway, to just past the Harbor 1-110 Freeway
  2. Take the Normandie exit, and turn Right onto Normandie
  3. Go up Normandie about 1/3rd of a mile

Directions from South of Loyola:

  1. Take the Northbound Harbor 1-110 Freeway.
  2. As you approach Downtown L.A., take the Westbound Santa Monica 1-10 Freeway.
  3. Go to Normandie exit, and then Right onto Normandie.
  4. Go up Normandie about 1/3rd of a mile

Directions from West of Loyola:

  1. Take the Eastbound Santa Monica 1-10 Freeway towards L.A.
  2. Take the Normandie exit, and Turn Left onto Normandie.
  3. Go up Normandie about 1/3rd of a mile

If you choose to avoid highways, you may access the parking lots via Pico Boulevard and Dewey Street OR Normandie and Venice Boulevard.

Westbound traffic on Venice Boulevard (from Downtown area) will not be permitted to continue beyond Vermont.

Uber/taxi services should be directed to drop off via the Dewey/Pico entrance located at the north side of the campus. Pick up should be arranged via the same route. (2501 W 15th Street may be used as address)

Private Shuttles/Limos will be allowed to enter via Venice and Normandie and drop off near the “Stadium.” Pick up can be arranged following the game at the same drop off location. No parking will be provided for these services.
