Support Loyola

Loyola High School is recognized as one of the leading educational institutions in Southern California.

Drawing upon the Jesuit tradition, Loyola is committed to the development of the whole person through a challenging educational experience of academic, co-curricular and spiritual growth. By teaching as Jesus taught, Loyola inspires our students to develop as conscientious leaders and agents of change who are intellectually distinguished, morally courageous and compassionate -- what we call "Men for Others."

Your support helps make this mission a reality. Our ability to provide an extraordinary Catholic education stems directly from the ongoing and generous partnership of alumni, parents, past parents, friends, foundations and corporations, and other dedicated individuals and organizations that share our vision.

The cost of providing an education of Loyola's caliber grows more expensive every year. The actual cost of a Loyola education for 2008-2009 was $19,175. In  keeping with the vision of St. Ignatius to make education affordable, Loyolas under-  writes a third of the cost. Our tuition and  fees were $13,500, resulting in a $5,675 per-student shortfall underwritten entirely through philanthropic support.

Because of you, we are able to keep the school within the reach of deserving young men who will benefit for the rest of their lives from the transformative power of a Loyola education.
