Public Speaking for Life
Jay Arntson, the Speech Faculty & Forensics Debate Coach at Pasadena City College

“Too often we think of public speaking as an inborn talent, and not a skill that anyone can learn. Public speaking is an art that can improve with simple practice. My name is Jay Arntson and I have been a public speaking professor as well as collegiate Speech and Debate coach for 15 years. In all my years of teaching and coaching, one phrase has emerged about learning the art of public speaking: Preparation and practice prevent poor performance. All it takes to dramatically improve one’s speaking ability is the opportunity to prepare and practice your advocacy. I will help you on your journey to becoming your best speaking self!”
