Tables are an expression of our creativity and our lives,
especially during this unique period.
As an effort to document this historical time and in honor of our event,
please submit a picture of your dining room table.
Is it a workspace? Craft area? Meal gathering place? Folding counter for laundry?
Or perhaps it is a creative outlet and perfectly set for a formal meal?

There is beauty in the realness of life right now.
Help us capture the spirit of the LMG Tables… the real ones.
Submit it anonymously or under your name. Caption or not.
Click here to view just a few of our first submissions.

In addition, at our annual in-person event, each table provides a drink or appetizer. Please submit a beverage or appetizer recipe for moms to make this weekend.

Who Needs a Laugh?
At 6:00 PM, Loyola President Fr. Greg Goethals, SJ ’73, along with comedian and Cub dad, Al Madrigal, and our very own teacher, Levi Line, will provide some much-needed humor.

After the laughs and special toast, you will be invited to drop by our Themed Zoom Parties! Come one, come all!

  1. Pet Lovers – Show off your fur-family members (unshaven humans don’t count).
  2. Cocktails in Quarantine – Share your best quarantine beverages.
  3. Newbie Moms – Meet other moms who are also having a very unique first Luncheon experience.
  4. Quarantine Fashion – Daytime pajamas and nighttime pajamas? Athleisure all day? Makeup: every-day wear or you forgot how. Discuss.
  5. Recipe Swap – Tales from the quarantine kitchen.

Click here to sign up for your party now.

Tables are encouraged to get together via video conference and celebrate
the hard work begun and friendships made.
Topic: Funniest quarantine stories and best Luncheon memories.

Don’t forget to wear your Navy, Pink and White Loyola Gear!
Send us a selfie or screenshot of your video chat attendees.
We’re putting together a collage to celebrate all “virtual” partygoers.

At 11 AM, there will be a special message
and Senior Mom blessing livestreamed HERE featuring Fr. Greg.

1  Allow Loyola to use your hostess underwriting donation, ticket purchase and sponsorship to support our Faculty.

Funds raised from the Mother’s Guild Spring Luncheon, such as the sale of tickets and the donation of sponsorships, are earmarked for Loyola’s faculty and staff’s professional development. The goal of this much-appreciated and essential $300,000 fund is to further their Ignatian formation so as to meaningfully engage your son in his educational and spiritual growth.

During most years, this wonderful, LMG-driven event raises $250,000 – $300,000. Please consider donating your ticket purchase and sponsorships to our hard-working faculty and staff’s enrichment. Join us in supporting Loyola and turn your ticket purchase or sponsorship into a gift.  We will gladly send you an acknowledgement for your 100 %, tax-deductible donation and include you in our donor roll of contributors supporting Loyola’s Jesuit Catholic mission.

If you would prefer a partial or full refund, we can issue you reimbursement after May 15th. Simply let the Loyola Events Office know at bbarraza@loyolahs.edu.

Haven’t purchased a ticket yet? Become a Virtual Ticketholder or Event Sponsor.
Click here to purchase a virtual ticket to the event for yourself or on behalf of a teacher (male or female) and be recognized as a Ticket Donor. You can even send a teacher a note of appreciation or encouragement! If you don’t want to purchase a ticket, sponsoring the Luncheon and our teachers in any amount, big or small, is welcomed and appreciated.

2  Shop limited Luncheon Commemorative Merchandise.

Get your gear to wear proudly as a badge of honor for continuing to support our teachers and your fellow moms during this unique year. The first of three items is a Woman’s T-Shirt – “Let’s Do Lunch… sort of.” This cute tee will be available for purchase on Saturday. Don’t forget to check in tomorrow and Saturday for a new item each day!

3  Participate in the online auction.

Check out the online auction at bidpal.net/lmg20! Bid on three hot items until 12 PM on Saturday. You can also check out these great items in our Luncheon e-program here.

Tune in at Noon HERE as we pray in gratitude for
all the mothers in our lives.

This event is truly unique to Loyola and is an expression of creativity and commitment to community on behalf of all the mothers of Loyola. The Luncheon serves as a celebration of the birthday of the Loyola High School Mothers’ Guild. Additionally, it serves as the Guild’s annual fundraising activity.

The goal of this Luncheon is to raise funds for our devoted faculty and staff. All proceeds from the event go towards supporting our teachers. It is a celebration of the collaborative efforts shown by our talented mothers. Their energy and enthusiasm demonstrate the value they place on our sons’ Jesuit education and appreciation for the lifelong friendships they themselves have formed along the way.
