Kevin Ehrhart '90

Kevin Ehrhart ’90 is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis and a founding partner of the Firm’s California Real Estate Practice. He represents private equity funds, investment advisors, REITs, privately held real estate companies, and international investors in complex real estate transactions and strategic matters.

Since joining Kirkland from Latham & Watkins in 2017, Kevin has played a key role in expanding the Firm’s real estate platform in California and globally, leading some of the Firm’s most significant client relationships and numerous high-profile transactions. Kevin is consistently recognized by leading legal and industry publications, including Chambers USA and The Legal 500 U.S. Over the course of his career, he has been named among the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Top 100 Lawyers,” recognized by The Daily Journal as one of California’s “Top 30 Real Estate Attorneys,” honored as the Los Angeles County Bar Association Real Property Section’s “Young Lawyer of the Year,” and selected by Real Estate Forum as one of the nation’s “Top 40 Real Estate Professionals.”

In addition to his legal practice, Kevin is actively involved in education and community leadership. He serves on the Board of Regents of Georgetown University and on the Physical Resources Committee at Loyola High School and previously served on the Board of Directors of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy from 2018 to 2024.

Kevin earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (B.S.F.S.) from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
