How do I apply for 9th grade admission to Loyola?

Submit the following online:

  • Application for admission (with non-refundable $75 fee)
  • Parent spiritual dimension form
  • Written and video essays
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Self-reporting of grades
  • Unofficial transcripts from 6th, 7th and 8th grades (Single PDF)
  • Standardized test scores from 6th, 7th and 8th grades (Single PDF)
  • Photo of applicant
  • Academic recommendations: Principal, English and Math teachers
  • Pastor or Faith Leader recommendation
  • HSPT

When you apply online, you have an option to register for the 2021 HSPT exam at Loyola High School during the month of January. The 2021 entrance exams will take place on Saturday, Jan. 9th and Saturday, Jan. 16th.

10th or 11th Grade

Loyola High School accepts a small number of transfer students in grades 10 and 11 each year. Learn about the transfer application process.

10th or 11th Grade

To request consideration of a late application, please email Director of Admissions, Ms. Angela Reno, at areno@loyolahs.edu. Any late applications will be assessed a $35 late fee.

Requirements for Transfer Students

In order to apply for 10th and 11th grade status, the applicant must have completed a curriculum similar to the curriculum at Loyola and achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in academic subjects with no grade lower than “C.”

Application for Transfer Admission Form

If you are interested in applying as a Transfer Applicant into the 10th or 11th grade, application forms will be available online in early 2021. Completed forms are due April 12, 2021.

Transfer Student Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of $75 must be submitted with the application form.

Response Letters

Notification emails will be sent on May 7, 2021. Response letters due with a $540 deposit by May 12, 2021.
