As the oldest continuing secondary school in all of Southern California, we know that high school is a time for change. Some of us embrace that change and some find it intimidating. We pride ourselves on our ability to appreciate the individual gifts of each student, while challenging them to share those gifts with our school community and the world beyond.

Our greatest asset is our student body.

Loyola Cubs are an extremely talented group of young men who exemplify character, faith and hard work. They become friends for life and have fun while embracing new challenges. In Admissions, our goal is simply to provide you and your son information to help your family make the best decision for his future. To learn more about us, we encourage you to explore the rest of our website and visit us during our Open House (online) on Sunday, November 1st. To register, click on the event date on this calendar here.

If you have any questions, please fill out an admissions inquiry or call us at 213.381.5121, x1202.

Why a Jesuit Boys' School

The Jesuits have been at the forefront of education for five centuries. It involves care for the individual, a striving for excellence, sharing one’s gifts and developing unity of heart, mind and soul.

The all-male environment at Loyola is one that promotes leadership, integrity, social responsibility and most of all, acceptance. We put a strong focus on faith, academics and co-curriculars, encouraging students to explore their full potential, while also fostering an environment that is open and welcoming in response to the needs of young men both academically and developmentally in the 21st century.

Most importantly, however, the camaraderie and the brotherhood that is fostered on this campus will stay with you for a lifetime. At Loyola, you may be a student for four years, but you will leave as a Cub for Life.
