Baker Memorial Scholarship
Rev. Bruce D’Aubert Baker
March 17, 1941 – December 26, 2018
“And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”
On December 26th, 2018, the Reverend Bruce D’Aubert Baker, loving husband, father of eight children, grandfather to twelve grandchildren, passed away at the age of 77 in La Quinta, CA. Bruce was surrounded by his wife and eight children at this time of passing. He had a marvelously full life of rich experiences and was loved by many.
In memory of Bruce’s life, the family has asked that in lieu of flowers, a gift be made to the Patricia Vogt Baker and Rev. Bruce D’Aubert Baker Endowed Scholarship. Annually and in perpetuity, a deserving young man will continue to receive a tuition award, which will help make it possible for him to attend Loyola. The scholarship was established with the mission to help young men and their families experience Loyola High and its community, and to receive the Ignatian educational and spiritual experience that has been and continues to be so important to the Baker Family, especially Patricia, Bruce, and Susan.
