Mission Statement
As Men for and with Others, the mission of the Loyola Latino Alumni Society is to develop brotherhood among the Loyola High School community of Latino students, alumni, faculty and staff through social, cultural and financial assistance programs.
A Jesuit education is a foundational experience that stays with you for life. Ask any Loyola alumnus and he’ll tell you how important and formative his years at 1901 Venice Boulevard were.
Through its endowment, the Latino Alumni Society of Loyola High School of Los Angeles (LAS) Scholarship supports tuition for current Latino students. Scholarships are based and awarded on a combination of need and merit as determined by Loyola High School. To date, our endowment has distributed $29,000 to six students in the past six years.
Our goal for 2021 is to raise $21,000 and bring our endowment to over $150,000. This will enable us to support even more families on their quests to provide their sons an invaluable Loyola education, thus laying the foundation for their future academic and career success.
