PSAT/SAT In-School Testing

Loyola High School will be having a school-wide testing day on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Freshmen and Sophomores will take the Digital Preliminary SAT (PSAT), and Juniors will take the Digital Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Seniors who have signed up for the Digital School Day SAT will also take the Official SAT on campus that day.

All students using College Board approved accommodations will receive an additional email with more specific information regarding the testing day.
The Digital PSAT (Frosh/Soph/Jrs) Who: All students, grades 9-11.
Arrive: Like a regular school day, 8:15am. The test should be over by 10:45 a.m.
Location: Students will report to their assigned testing location, posted on Canvas.
What to bring? All students must bring a FULLY CHARGED Laptop, a #2 pencil or a pen for scratch paper work, a scientific or graphing calculator is permitted OR any standard four-function calculator (although the Bluebook app has a built-in calculator). There will be no loaner calculators or extra batteries at the test location. Students should bring a bottle of water and a snack. (There will not be food available on campus.) How Long is the PSAT? 2 hours and 30 minutes (approximately, including breaks).

Scores:
No penalty for guessing
Total score: 320-1520
Section scores: range from 160 – 760
Both sections contribute equally to the total score.
