Dan McFarland “Mac” Chandler III, ’85

The Chandler-Fisher Scholarship is awarded annually to a Freshman who demonstrates leadership in extracurricular activities, including athletics, arts, community service, and/or spiritual life. The award then follows the awardee annually through graduation, provided that the criteria continue to be met.  Preference is given to applicants who are the first member of their family to attend Loyola (e.g., grandfather, father and brother are not alumni).  In general, the recipient is challenged to afford the full cost to attend Loyola, and has not received any other needs based assistance.
