Jack Krouse, SJ Ordained a Deacon in Paris, France

Former Loyola High theology teacher Jack Krouse, SJ (pictured center), was recently ordained to the diaconate at Saint Ignatius Church in Paris on June 20.

Bishop Philippe Marsset, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Paris, presided at the Mass, during which 10 other Jesuits were also ordained deacons. Jack Krouse attended Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, California, and has a bachelor’s degree in English history and literature from Harvard University. Prior to entering the Society, he worked for the White House and U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He is currently studying theology at Centre Sevres in Paris.
