Loyola Breaks Ground on 1901 Venice Boulevard Project

On Tuesday, June 11th at Hayden Circle, Loyola High School broke ground on the long-awaited 1901 Venice Boulevard Project during a ceremony at sunset with over 100 guests in attendance.

President Fr. Gregory M. Goethals, SJ ’73 was joined by Loyola Board Chairman Rick Caruso, Vice President for Advancement Lela Diaz, donors, alumni and many other members of the Loyola community as they dug into the historic 1901 Venice Boulevard soil. The evening kicked off the rebuilding of Xavier Center, the enhancement of Hayden Circle and the creating of a Veterans’ Wall of Honor, saluting past and present Cubs serving our country.
