Rev. John P. McGarry, SJ ’80 Appointed to Presidency of Jesuit High School of Sacramento

Fr. John P. McGarry, SJ ’80 has been named the new President of Jesuit High School of Sacramento. The Rector of the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University since 2012, Fr. McGarry will assume his new post at the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. Previously, he served as a teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal at Jesuit and is currently a Trustee. Prior to his numerous positions at the Sacramento high school, Fr. McGarry was the Provincial of the California Province of the Society of Jesus from 2005-2011. A Loyola alumnus, Fr.
