Course instruction focuses on teaching students strategies and content to allow them to be successful in the math and science sections of the ACT Exam. The course will offer an in-depth review of math content topics including algebra, plane and coordinate geometry, and trigonometry as applicable to the exam, and strategies that will help students manage time and minimize errors. For the science section, students will become familiar with the structure of the exam and learn to analyze data in tables and figures given for biology, chemistry, geology/earth science and physics passages and learn multiple strategies to help with accuracy and pacing during the exam. Students will practice problems in which they can apply the concepts learned and will have multiple opportunities to take official practice exams and receive score analyses and guidance for score improvement.
