Beginning sewing is for students who want to be exposed to the basics of hand and machine stitching. This class will pique students’ interest in basic sewing skills, designing, and creativity. Students will learn basic hand and machine stitching, create projects that practice basic sewing skills (by hand and on the machine) learn how to sew a variety of stitches used in basic sewing, and design and create their own patterns using measuring and problem-solving skills.
