Big History is an interdisciplinary class that merges science, history, and philosophy. The class has students investigate the varieties of scientific models that developed with regard to the beginnings of the universe. The students then analyze the ways that humans have interacted with each other from the earliest civilizations to modern times. The students also look at a variety of ways that humans have developed their knowledge about their universe and their various societies. The class would have students create projects about the nature of the universe, methods of knowledge, and human interactions.
