In the late 70’s, a wizard took two turntables, a rudimentary mixer, and made continuous music which is now known as a mix. This wizard is now known as a DJ, and this class will examine The DJ through style, mixes, and the music that transcends one from being an ordinary playlist maker to a full DJ. We will use Vinyl and Digital formats to see the arch of the DJ but also to learn by doing. Yes, this will be a hands-on class— real records, real music!
