Summer: Introduction to AP Calculus
Open to: 10th-12th grades
Length: 5 weeks
Designed for any student looking to brush up on his/her skills prior to beginning AP Calculus AB or BC in the fall, this class will review the major topics that form the foundation of those courses. Topics include linear functions, polynomials, function families, graphing functions, trigonometry, and limits. Especially recommended for any student who did not take either Honors Algebra 2 or Honors Precalculus. An AP-/College Board-approved graphing calculator is required (TI-84 Plus recommended). Students are also required to purchase access to the WebAssign homework platform. Instructions for WebAssign will be given on the first day of class.
